Merryhills, Enfield - your views please

We have been offered a reception place at Merryhills Primary School, Enfield.

Do you have any thoughts or views on how good this school is, its local reputation, school ethos etc? We don't know anyone who goes there to ask...

It was our third choice school and we haven't been to see it (as were happy with our top 2 choices and were expecting to get into one or the other, based on previous years).

Hi Lovelola, I know a few people whose children go there and they are very happy with it. Don't really know specifics that is good about it but they have all said nice things about it.

One friend in particular was on the waiting list for another school in the area but came off the list as she is so happy with Merryhills.

Thanks Peanuts. We're concerned because it is extremely close to the 2 other schools (Grange Park and Eversley) and its Ofsted and results are pretty poor in comparison to the others. I don't suppose any of your friends MNers who could be encouraged to expand on what they like about it???!!
