We looked at it, loved it and then DD#1 didn't get a place. She is at a state school local to us now (not Bromley) and is loving it. We couldn't be happier with the school she is at and although we had DD#2 down for Bromley High entrance this Sept we pulled her out of the selection process, simply because we love the school DD#1 is at and now prefer the idea off DD#2 going there. I am pretty sure DD#2 would have been offered a place, though I am not surprised DD#1 was not as she has some specific issues.

So - it doesn't make the school bad, but it did make me sit up and think once we had experienced another school. It all looks lovely and impressive to see the pages of writing and the books they are reading before the end of their first term there - but is that honestly what you want for your child? DD#1 comes home from school telling me she has been "playing and eating" each day - meanwhile she is clearly learning and making progress, and very happy doing a lot more than just playing.

Good luck whatever you decide - I'm sure the school suits many of the girls there very well.

It's local to us and my DS knows some girls who go there (senior school), all very nice & doing well.

Also, all the girls I see going there each day are a credit to the school. Mums of prep girls look v organised!

Our daughter is in prep there - we are very happy with it and would recommend it - it is a fantastic environment and the staff are fabulous.
