Hi, I have dd's school report and for each learning objective it has a letter next to it. B for working below, W for working within A for working above and a + for exceeding (age related national expectations). What I'm wondering is what the difference is between A and +, seeing as they both mean apparently the same thing? Her teacher is a bit woolly generally and obviously only comments on dd's progress rather than putting it in context.
I know it's very trivial so don't flame me too much .
