Any closed-toe sandals for summer uniform?

My (5 yrs old) daughter's school has said that closed-toe sandals are OK for their summer uniform in black, white or purple.
I can't find any anywhere.
Has anyone found any?
The summers are so hot now that it seems cruel to put children in shoes and socks.
I'm thinking of manufacturing some myself - I've looked through so many websites, viewed hundreds of styles. There are a few for boys but they are too ugly for girls - lots of moulded black rubber and unattractive patterns on webbing.

Ricosta do nicely made closed toe sandals

Depends what size she is, I've found that girls closed toes sandals mainly stop at size 8. Petasil make a closed school sandal, the style is called Bump, but it is quite narrow fitting.

This is one of my real bugbears as I've seen too many kids tripping in open toed sandals, DD can wear any sandal for school, but won't wear the afore mentioned ones because everybody else wears open toes
