oh the shame, but I did attend primary school in the dark ages.

Q. Find a pair of numbers with:

  1. a sum of 9 and a product of 18
  1. a sum of 12 and a product of 11
  1. a sum of 12 and a product of 36

What does this mean??

Sum is numbers added together.

Product is numbers multiplied together.

So for each question you need to use two numbers which you add together to make the first and multiply to maje the second. I would start with the product as there's fewer possibilities.
