I want my son to learn French. There are no formal classes in my local area, so I will have to home teach.

Are there any resources or website that you can recommend?

many thanks

Does he not learn it at school? In the UK a foreign language is compulsory for all junior children.

There are some ideas at www.warrinerprimaries.com/Topic/french.htm

I know people who have used muzzy and found it quite good.

I think it is quite a structured programme so if you were serious about teaching it you could follow the scheme through.

Otherwise book shops with good children's sections often do cds and books in them (I think)

This site is THE reference for french teaching.
www.lepointdufle.com
and a popular children's activities site is www.teteamodeler.com
Maybe there is a french au pair in your area which could come and play in french once a week, just to make him understand other people speak french as well
