Primary Schools near Oval/Kennington/Pimlico?

Hi all,

I'm looking at putting my near-nursery age child in a primary school and have heard good things about Ashmole and Reay, but haven't gone to visit them yet. Are there other schools I should look around here? I'm willing to look in Pimlico and Kennington as well. Also, although I probably won't put my child in one, are there any good private schools around these area?

Thanks for your help!

i am also looking - and find myself looking for an answer to your exact same question! I have also heard good things about ashmole and reay and will be making appointments to see them. i'll let you know what i think of thema nd a few others - i think i will also visit archbishop sumner, walnut tree walk, and perhaps st marks.

Archbishop Sumner very good, but you need to be fairly close to get in.

check the catchment areas before you set your heart on a primary school. We left Kennington for this reason.

Squareheadcut when are you planning on going for a visit? Let me know how it went please!

Will look at Archbishop Sumner and Walnut Tree too, thanks for those ideas.

Fridayschild, how do we know catchment areas? Do we just call? Which school were you looking at and why did you decide Kennington wouldn't work out?
