What book character could ds (year 3) be if he goes to book day wearing a uk army dressing up outfit tomorrow [last minute lazy parent emoticon].
Does the book have to have been in print yet, or could I get away with a quick made up army story before bedtime??

cld he pretend to be a soldier out of the disney film toy story? you could get a book about toy story.

i am being a little lazy and sending ds in a green t-shirt and jeans as he loves scooby doo and saying he is shaggy, and he is taking a scooby doo book.

Thanks countydurhamlass, but the Toy Story ones are unfortunately the wrong type of uniformed soldiers.
Ds' outfit is imitation, full modern combat gear.

Can't help (dinosaur obsessed dd, so wrong demographic . . .), but I bet if you post this in the Children's book topic someone would come up with something for you!

Thanks for tip Takver - have posted in children's books!

So if he had binoculars could he look like an explorer?
I can't think of any characters particularly - just thought it might open out your options.

ah, binoculars and a toy monkey.....'Curious george' ?
