I want to help ds improve his writing but I need a little guidance so I know what to focus on - I'm going to slide my support into the weekly spelling practice - get him to write sentences rather than learn spellings - which he can already do with ease. His IEP target is capital letters and full stops, used consistently in 3 sentences.
Has anyone got a link to standards expected in Y2 literacy - I don't want to overload him with instructions but would like an idea on where he should be going, so I can gently take him there.
