I'm looking for a website with maths-based activities for my Y1 age DD. She loves number work and I'm keen to get her off the blardy Barbie website. Any ideas?

Hi- our school have just introduced a programme called "I Am Learning" which is a fun way to practice maths, literacy and "other subjects". So far I think it's excellent. They answer questions and then get to play a game of their choice- if they answer correctly then their game goes more smoothly. There's a champions league thing too so they can compare their results on the games with their peers. The whole school are really into it. He's reception. Also used a programme called "Maths Base" which he really liked too, but this one was just maths.

I like maths whizz (not free) and worksheetworks.com for great printable worksheets that you can customise (free).

mathletics - you pay a yearly subscription of £39 but loads of great stuff

yes,Mathletics is good.My DS would do it for hours given chance, and he hates maths.

piscesmoon · 26/02/2010 19:42

For that age I would recommend ICT Games
