my dd is moving to a new school in September and I was wondering how much notice i have to give to her current school? Is there a statutory Terms notice? Also do i have to write a letter or can i just tell the school?

Hi There,

I would think you have to give a terms notice.

I would also give in writing as proof later on as fee paying schoold could then turn ariound to say they did not get this notice and then expect you to pay a full terms fees.

Not sure how this works in state schools though.
