Free Key Stage 1 SATS Math papers to download?

Does anyone know where to get practise papers for free? Allegedly there are are free downloads. But all I can find is books to purchase, and then I have to wait for them to arrive in the post. Something I could download andf print would be great if such a thing exists.

Does anyone have a link they could share?

I was under the impression that KS1 SATS had been scrapped anyway.

I bought and did practise KS1 SAT papers with my ds1, as I wanted to try to ensure that he got levels 3's. At the time I thought this was imporatnt, I have no idea why and I am now very embarrassed by this.

i have moved ds2 to a school where they don't do Ks1 SATs and I will not be practsing Ks2 sats with Ds2.

I have learnt.

i know most of you here want practise papers for more information reasons, i'm just admitting my own twattishness and i'm sure I'm not the only ones who fell inot this trap or they wouldn't sell them.

How honest and very untwattish of you Brideshead to make such an admission. I think if more schools didn't do it, the better we would all be....children included.

I think if the schools were better at communicating with parents then parents wouldn't be so eager to cling onto KST SAT papers for a glimpse into the syllabus.

More often than not I think parents are driven to nurotic ocmpetitiveness because of the schools/ inadequacies.

This is not about freaky parents, but failing schools.

I know I get all wound up at the poor communication that comes my way. And our school is really one of the better state schools. I'd be basket case if my kids went to a failing state school.

KS3 SATs have been scrapped. The other ones are still there.

KS1 SATs haven't been scrapped entirely. The only reported level at y2 is the teacher assessment, which is made up of lots and lots of evidence of the children's progress - a very small part of the evidence required is the tests if the child is working at level 2/3.

Despite what they say the KS1 SATs are still mandatory, even though the levels aren't reported to parents, they are still reported along with Teacher Assessments to County. They are used in schools to confirm teacher assessments. If you look at the many many maths websites (UK ones) out there you will see activities carefully matched to the expected levels of your child. Many of them have already been mentioned on here but ict games, the bbc website, nrich, tutpup are all great, and much more fun than a SATs paper

....KS1 SATs are still mandatory, even though the levels aren't reported to parents, they are still reported along with Teacher Assessments to County....

No they aren't reported to county!!!!! Only TAs are reported.

...They are used in schools to confirm teacher assessments....

They are not used to CONFIRM teacher assessments; they are used to ADVISE teacher assessments. Teacher assessments can override SATs results, as long as evidence is available.

There are so many people who are so badly informed about KS1 SATs. It makes me wonder what information schools are giving out.
