Where to send dcs old phonics reading books?

I have loads of books that my dc's used to learn to read eg full sets of ORT (levels 4 - 10), Jolly Phonics Jolly readers, all 3 sets, complete set of Jelly & Bean; I intended to ebay them but 3 years later have not got round to it so would like to see if I can give them to a charity which will use them to teach others to read also (rather than sell them for a few pence - they are an invaluable source of early reading material).

Does anyone know a charity that would want them? I have scoured Google but am not coming up with much ...

Thanks

You are right they would be like gold dust to someone, are very expensive new. I bought the level 1-3 phonic books for £3 in a charity shop and was a happy lady. So i suppose if nothing better comes up you could always do that.

Are the school not interested? Or if they are in very good nick local library, i didnt realise that mine took donations before but if the books are as good as new and are on the libraries buying list they do.

You could offer them on freecycle and stipulate that you will give them to the worthiest cause. Lots of childminders / playgroups seem to use my local group.
