How long for Ofsted report?

Does anyone know the timeline of ofsted reports? My nearest primary school had an ofsted visit at the beginning of December. It had notice to improve last year and a new head started in September. The school's website said they had received a copy of the draft report and that it was now being moderated (this was about 3 weeks ago).
Does anyone know how long it might be before it is released and also why it might be taking so long?
I only have a couple of weeks until the closing date for applications and really want to see the report before I put my preferences down.
Many thanks

the school get given a verbal breakdown of the report at the time, then a draft goes to the school to check for errors, typos etc. That then gets sent back to Ofsted HQ to be completed, the children will get their own letter thanking them and telling them what the key points of the inspection are. The time frame for it to go live on the Ofsted website can be anything but often about 6 to 8 weeks.

I think that the report can be issued to pupils 21 days after the inspection - not counting school holidays. Do you know any current pupils who might pass on their copy?

Thanks for the replies - sounds like it should come out soon.
I shall just have to keep checking. I am checking the ofsted website. Finding the school and then checking the last ofsted which is still last years.

We have a report locally that was due out some time ago, but has not been published. (Inspection was before Christmas.) I think the school must be appealing against the findings of the report.

The school where I work had their inspection in mid december. We received our report 3 weeks ago and sent it out to parents almost immediately.

I've just checked and the report is on the Ofsted website.

I thought it was 15 days

Well maybe it is a bit odd then as it was done at the beginning of December. I am looking round the school soon so I will ask the head then.

One of our local secondary schools has just got a very bad ofsted. I heard a rumour of it in about October, then it made the local paper and big furore because Head refused to release it even though everyone knew it was bad. I am sure it was a good 6 weeks before she released it.
