Does anyone have any experience with any of these schools?

apologies for rehashing old thread, but interested why thatsSOOOOsw14 rates sheen mount as least friendly. Presume you don't have kids at all three schools, so what's your assumption based on?

Oh, and where did you get offered a place KewC?

Btw, 2010, if you're not starting in reception year, it's pretty much a matter of finding out which school has spaces and applying. You could be living in Sheen and sending your kid to Teddington, or vice versa - if there's a space further up the school (and nobody living nearer to the school than you wants it) then it's yours, as I understand it.

hello policywonk, is your brother's flat (close to the sheen mount primary school) is still available?

Hello, Need some help on Barnes Primary School. We are moving within the catchment of the school, however as my 5 year old already is in reception at a different school and we will have to apply through the In year admission process for Barnes Primary.
Council shared, we will be on on waiting list number 1 based on the distance, but it is very difficult to say when he will get admitted.
Does anyone has any information/ experience based on past events, how long (on an average) it can take for in year admission into reception or year 1 at Barnes Primary?
I understand, no one can say but any advise is appreciated?

Wow this thread was a blast from the past (OP here)

We ended up going to neither of these, and my dc wanted to go the the RC primary he had been in before. Many years in the area and I know people who had children in all these schools, and though I cant say anything about waiting lists, the schools are lovely and kids are generally doing very well in them.

Good luck1

We are actually back in Norway again and reading this sort of made me feel a little sad, we had some lovely years back in London, and it was sort of humbling to think back at the moving process and how things panned out in the end.
