One TA between two classes in reception, is this normal?

This is the situation in one of our local primaries (the only one we are near enough to get into). So in reception they have two 30-pupil classes which have one teacher each and a TA between them. Is this normal, or something we should be worried about?

In my experience there is normally one TA per Reception class. But maybe I've just got lucky with my DCs' schools.

Not sure what the norm is, but we have 2 TAs, one each for the 2 reception classes.

The statutory requirement is one teacher to 30 children so well within the legal limits.
Hard work for the teacher to provide for every child's needs though.
