Very specific question for you all: My DD is going to the 4+ assessment at Wimbledon High Girls' School (primary). Does anyone know from experience how long it lasts? The first round in November lasted 40 minutes but there is nothing in the letter re timing.

Thanks!

From what I remember (it was a couple of years ago) it was slightly shorter than the first assessment, as it is an individual one-to-one assessment with a teacher rather than a group session. Half an hour perhaps? You could always give the admissions secretary a call to check.

Thanks Maxiebaby. You were spot on. I called the admissions secretary and found out it was a one-to-one assessment, which I hadn't realised.
Amazingly, Sophie enjoyed it but they must make the little ones sign a confidentiality agreement because she refuses to tell me what she and the teacher got up to!

My DD has been asked to come in for the 1-2-1 assessment in Jan. What should I expect? I was wondering what kind of things do they ask in the 1-2-1 assessment?
