i am wondering if someone can help me. i want to know if it is possible to make your child skip the reception class and go straight to the year 1?

Either way, yes he would normally start reception September when he is coming up to 5 at the Christmas.

Yes, if your work or uni finishes at 6pm you'll have to find childminder or other after-school care - whatever year he is in tbh.
