Thinking of moving to New Malden and cannot make head nor tail of which primary, junior schools are 'rated' by parents.

Are there any good independent schools people talk about too?

Would appreciate help as house sale depends on it.

Thank you

I have friends over that way and they go to Sacred Heart Catholic School & Burlington School. Burlington has a good reputation I think and so does Sacred Heart Not sure if you have to attend church but friend's friend kids goes there and does not attend church. Go on to the local Kingston-upon-Thames/ Wimbledon/New Malden site and ask again.

Burlington, Coombe Hill, Corpus Christi and ChristChurch all good- Coombe Hill rated outstanding, but oversubscribed.
Private- Study school is good, Westbury House- heard negative things, very small- and Rokeby on the Coombe estate (boys). Don't know anything about that I'm afraid.

Agree with Deddei. All the schools are good - Coombe Hill 'the best' on paper (but we chose another over it on personal preference). Only one to avoid is The Mount.

On the private side, have a look at Park Hill School on Queens Road in Kingston. My two went there from age 4 to 7, was excellent.
