Cod piece?
After shave?
Sonic screwdriver?
Posing pouch?

Spidermama · 26/11/2009 14:59

Just kidding.

Alcohol is usually a winner.

PuppyMonkey · 26/11/2009 15:01

No I don't.

squidlet · 26/11/2009 15:02

Thought about alcohol but what?

Posing pouch sounds good but he is no Chppendale!!

How about a nice Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon. You can't go wrong with one of them.

Book token is non committal and everyone can use a book token.

I bake stuff for the good teachers but usually only at the end of the academic year.

SolidGoldBangers · 26/11/2009 15:05

How about a monkeyspanker?

purepurple · 26/11/2009 15:05

When DD had her first male teacher in YR2, she had a bit of a crush on him.
For Xmas we made him a CD of songs for his new car (he had just passed his test).
At parent's evening he said it was the best present he had ever had. (He was quite new to the job though )
It didn't cost anything either!

Houseofpants · 26/11/2009 15:07

Mmmm my dh is a teacher but doesn't drink(although his wife enjoys the nice wines parents buy)...posh chocolate biscuits are a winner with him though.

Spidermama · 26/11/2009 15:25

PMSL at the Monkey Spanker SGB.

My DH always says he's going to buy lingerie or a pretty thong for the lollypop lady.

KurriKurri · 26/11/2009 17:07

theITgirl · 26/11/2009 17:28

Bottle of wine and a nice christmas tree decoration

mowbraygirl · 26/11/2009 17:52

Last Christmas my GD had a male teacher my DD wasn't sure about wine as she had heard he didn't drink. So bought a nice tin of chocolate biscuits which was much appreciated.

HappyMummyOfOne · 26/11/2009 22:36

I'd say cinema voucher too, they have good dates on them so it can be used anytime rather than an onslaught of biscuits etc that need to be used up within a certain period.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 27/11/2009 11:55

Amazon token. DH is a teacher.

KurriKurri · 27/11/2009 12:56

Love all the teacher's spouses putting in their requests

101handbags · 27/11/2009 15:40

Wine. Baileys. Bacardi.
My sister's husband is a teacher. This is all he hopes for.

colditz · 27/11/2009 15:41

Chocolate biscuits.

squidlet · 29/11/2009 08:41

Thanks for your support, think it will be a bottle as he was at Christmas fair on Friday and managed to have a discrete discussion regarding drinking habits!!

But thanks a lot everyone!

my dd1 started spetember and also has male teacher, he has been off sick for 2 weeks so want sure who I would be buying for (they have had same relief teacher every day in his absence and thought I may end up buying her a present too!) however he is back!

Wasnt sure about alcohol as he doesnt strike me as drinking type and I know his wife is going through chemo at the mo and they have 2 children at the same school thought I may go for some nice M&S chocolate biscuits they could share as a family?
