Moving schools in year 5

Has anyone moved their dc from one school to another when they are in year 5. Is it too disruptive considering Sats next year or is it positive? DD has been offered a place at a smaller school which on paper sounds great. But Im not sure whether its worth the move. DD has had a lot of problems with 'playground' issues in the past few months and is bored with her school at moment, but I'm worried it may be too disruptive so late in the day so to speak.

You should not give a fig about SATs; secondary schools do their own assessments, anyway.
DS in yr-5 I may move him too - also social issues.

ditto SATs results are not important for the individual child and most secondary schools test on, or soon after entry to determine sets etc.

I would have thought 'playgroud' issues are likely to be more disruptive than a school move. Schools follow a National Curriculum so in theory the educational disruption shouldn't be too great.
