DS (Yr4) informed me this morning that it is 31 days to Christmas. [OMG how did that happen I've done nothing yet...whole 'nother thread]
Anyway, as I wrote the date into about 12 different children's reading record this morning, I said, "Oh that's an interesting date....?" Not one of them spotted without lots of prompting, that it's one month till the dreaded day. Are dates harder than I thought? Or is it because they all had their "reading" hat on?
