Schools in Sevenoaks - advice please!

Hi,
We are thinking of moving to Sevenoaks as its apparently an easy commute to London and has good grammar schools. Are there any Sevenoaks mums out there who could tell me where to start looking? Which are the "good" areas, probably linked to the "good" schools?? Many thanks

I don't know much about primary schools but the good grammars are further out in Tonbridge.

There are no grammar schools in Sevenoaks at all - the closest ones are Tonbridge and then Tunbridge Wells. Many of the grammar schools in West Kent are super-selective and it is highly competitive to gain places. The ones that aren't super-selectives generally have quite small catchment areas due to demand for places and the closer you live to the school the better.

IMO you are better off looking at either Tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells in the long term - the commute is only another 20 minutes or so and you will have much better options for schooling.
