New Heinemann Maths scheme - anyone used in primary?

DD (nearly 6 - primary 2) talks about heinemann maths but dont know the ins and outs of it.

I only have limited knowlage but I we in year 1 felt that there is not enough of one topic for example when looking at numbers that add up 2 ten there is only one page of work on it which is not enough for the low ability group I have who need lots of extra home made activities that you dont get from that scheme. I like Oxford Zone maths but it is all about personal prefernces.
