Given we all have a short amount of time has anyone any suggestions on good questions to ask?

Any teachers with tips? Thanks!

We get about 5-10 minutes each. I have only been to one though as dd has just joined year 1.

All I asked (whilst looking through a folder of dd's work that teacher had put together) was...

  1. Has she settled in well?
  2. Does she play / interact nicely with the other children?
  3. Does she behave herself in class?

This year I will be asking the above plus questioning how the teacher feels she is progressing academically with reading, maths etc and if there is anything she needs to practice a little more at home.

And for dd2 I spent the eveing trying to get them to keep her not send her to special school yet!
