Views on St Albans girls please

Help please. I am going slightly doolally trying to sort out schools for my daughter who will be starting school next year (places finalised very soon).

Please can you provide views on St Albans Girls - she is a bright button but she is quite a free spirit and I really don't want this managed out of her or her turning into a geek child. Please be as stereotypical as you want as I am really scared I will send her to the wrong school

I am also going to be posting this in the secondary school section.

Do you mean St Albans Girls (aka STAGs - a state school), or St Albans High School (SAHS)?

I mean SAHS

I don't have any personal advice to offer so am reluctant to hand out sweeping views, but... I know people who are very very happy with the school, even though I think they have had quite a few changes of headmistress in recent years. I have seen they have a new sports centre with swimming pool so facilities are definitely up there.

Why not try re-posting this in mumsnet local for St Albans and re-do the title at SAHS as it might be confusing for some.
