We got our DD's EYFS profile folder home to keep at the end of her Reception year, and it was also out ready for us to access at any time through the school year.

We were given their baseline assessment verbally at the informal parents evening at nursery and reception, followed by a progress report in the final parents evening in March.

WE also got DS's profile folder home at the end of Reception. It was available to view at parents' evenings during the year and (I assume) we could have asked to see it at another time if we'd wanted. I imagine if you really want a copy you can ask the school.

We were not given copies of this. I think it depends on the school.

At the end of the school school year we were given a full report, but it did not include the grades out of 9 which are given. It was more a description of my what my child's strengths were, and what she needed to work on.

We didn't. In fact EYFS was never mentioned, though it's obvious that's how they were working to anyone who knew about it. We got a folder of work and a detailed end of year report in EY-speak. No idea of scale points, etc.
