Does anybody know what the approximate level of the Bond 7-8 and 8-9 yr papers relate to (what year) - is it yr3 or yr4? And if your child was sitting an 8+ exam (not 7+) - what level would he be expected to reach?

completely confused so grateful for any answers.

for 8+ look at 7-8 (ie the year 3 ones )as a minimum, rpesumably your dc will turn 8 this academic year . Not sure what you mean by level to reach thoguh.

If my child was sitting an 8+ exam, I would want them to be at the 8-9 level at least.

The books say the age is only a guideline. They don't give any explanation. DS2 (Y4) is working through the 8-9 books (he turns 9 in March)
