Ok, am looking to get a comparison as per academic results between two schools.

First is a non selective independent primary. What score would you give it, given these results from 1 to 10 for academic excellence? 1 being poor, 10 being excellent?

185 Pupils sat a SATS test aged 7:

54% got level 3
23% got level 3 (or it might be 27% print is smudged)!

Do you really mean 77% gor level 3? Or is level 3 a typo in one of those stats.

But fwiw I don't think you can tell much by SATs anyway. Attaining level 3 at age 7 is a pretty low bar.

Low bar??
I'd be very impressed by >20% getting Level 3.

BrigitBigKnickers · 02/10/2009 14:29

Level 3 at age 7 is above average achievement-how can that be low bar swedes
The average score for the end of KS1 is level 2b

katiestar · 02/10/2009 17:30

That is the expected score. Not the same as average.
