would you want to know if one of your puupils was having complementary lessons for a subject, outside of school?

Not a teacher but lots of kids around here do Kumon - I would think parents might mention it at consultation evenings but not make of point of mentioning it, iyswim

Mention it if it seems necessary, very often the child will tell their teacher anyway. This is often along the lines of 'Oh no, I've got Kumon tonight...grooooooaaaaannnnn'

Yes, I'd want to know. I'd then be able to make sure you knew the areas that x needed extra support with so you could target any other lessons.
