i got a letter from the school today saying my 6 year old had been chosen to do the primary FUNdamentals club which is focusing on agility, balance, co-ordination and encouraging communication and interaction skills.

i know i need to speak to his teacher but was hoping someone could enlighten me a bit. he isn't the most sporty of children!

Sounds like a form of brain gym - such exercise helps coordination ,concentration, balance etc and has benefits such as developing handwriting and activities involving opposite sides of the body .
