Okay, so is anyone else freaking out about their babys starting school?

I was ok until I bought dd her shoes! Now I could sob everytime I look at her! Silly, cos she's excited. I know she will be nervous on the big day - Thursday! - but think its me that will be worst! Pathetic aren't I? Any other mummys feeling the same?

PinkTulips - I'm in Mayo, not far from you! Yes I think people think I'm a bit strange sending DS to school at 4 when I could have him at home for another year. But I know he's ready.

my ds started today and luckily we live just accross the road so I have been like a stalker today peeping throught the window!! can't wait till 3 to go and collect him lol!

just got dd back, she had a ball, apparently they did painting and playing with cars and tomorrow they start on their schoolbooks [eek]

My DS goes next week. I keep feeling wistful at the end of the summer and the end of a stage in his life, have a few little trips and treats planned over the next few days...

Not just me then phew! DD#1 starts next Wednesday and I can easily get all teary thinking about it too much. She is really excited thankfully, just me who has an issue!! I will be brave, I will be brave!

Well, my dd was fine. Quite happy and settled. I wept all the way home and will now spend the day thinking about her!
