That's my question really! Does Key stage one cover year one and two?

Am homeschooling my six year old (7 in November), he would be starting year two this sept if he was in school, just trying to buy resources off the net and I am a bit stuck with everything being in key stages rather than years!

Thankyou.

KS1 is Y1 & Y2 so children could be just 5 to almost 8.
You need KS1 for your son.
