Have you received a letter from the school

We were offered a place at a local school, I sent the form back to accept the place, but haven't heard anything since.
Dd is only due to start in January, but I just wondered if everyone else has received information from their allocated schools yet.

DD is starting in September and we got a letter back around Easter confirming our acceptance and have had new parents' evening in June and practice days in reception. Maybe if your DD is starting in January, things like that are done later, perhaps you will hear in September?

I would phone the LEA. DD2 is starting in Sept and we've had lots of info from the school, plus visit days for her. But we don't have January intakes, so I don't know whether those would come later.
