Dd's Y1 school report a bit disappointing, I'd like to help her a bit over the summer, any tips?

Work books much hated here
www. educationcity may be worth it and is not expensive.
It is NC based so you could review all of Yr 1
Otherwise if you do want to try a workbook the least boring one we have had is the A4 pale blue/turquoise series form WHSMITH
