Are there any foundation/ks1-ish maths programs along the lines of headsprout/reading eggs?

So a standalone program to teach/reinforce basic maths skills?

We are on educationcity but I want something a bit more step-by-step. Also needs to be something with a child-friendly interface, for a non-fluent reader to ideally use alone, or at least believe he is .

I'd have thought the internet/computers lend themselves well to maths teaching, but can't find anything.

Ds is 5, computer-based learning programs seem to work quite well for him. Dp has a phd in maths, so the human option is there, but he seems to really like that bit of independence. Not after anything like starfall with printables-want it to be entirely computer-based. Or at least ds does

Any thoughts?

Also, anyone know of any really good times table cds? Pref downloadable?

try bbc bitesize key stage 1 the games are easy for thm to do alone and quite fun

will have a look on the bbc site, only thing is ds really likes to be able to decide what he will look at again etc. So am looking for something with a very kid-friendly interface. Didn't quite do it for us with science-we use it for specific games etc but not to just let ds roam, iykwim. Whereas reading eggs he can decide when he wants to do it and log on himself and do as much or as little as he wants.

(if it makes any difference we are home educating.)

Having a good look at OHO now - does look expensive cp reading eggs (but at least all the lessons are there!).

There do seem like a lot of mathematics games on the internet for free though, that look good.
