Hello
We are moving back to the UK and have a 8 year old who will be going into year 4 next Sept. Can anyone recommend a good, friendly primary school in the New Forest area. She is currently at an international school & is fluent in Spanish so it would be good if she could keep learning the language. I have read some of the Ofsted reports but I am more interested in the Parents viewpoint. Thanks

Which part of the New Forest?

One of the best in my area is South Baddesly, its high on the league tables but also fairly popular. I dont know any one who has children there, but I do know someone who has chosen Beaulieu over South Baddesly, time will tell if she is happy with her choice. I know someone who has a child at Fordingbridge and is very happy with the school.

Thanks for your replies. I am hoping to look at some of the schools early July and had already earmarked Ringwood as a possibility because of the secondary school specialising in languages (should consider this to be long term). DP has a job offer near Hythe so somewhere easily accessible with good schools. I have always been fond of Lymington so will look into S Baddesly if it doen´t take too long to get to Hythe.
