maths sats yr 2

For those who do yr 2 sats what day were they on?
ds doing maths test today but they do assessments not actual sats.
But I'm not sure if they do the actual paper iyswim but they don't get sent off.

why don't you ask the school?

well I think they have a policy of describing them all as small assessments and add to the body of evidence from the year ~ which is a good thing.

What I don't know is if they are doing the actual sats paper today or just another assessment
~anyway just realised it will be different as is in welsh language and so a separate sat!

I thought children in Wales didn't do SATs at all.

I think it depends on the school theres no set day.

DS is in year 2 and I have no idea if hes done his yet .. he doesn't think so

School is very low key on sats (which I approve of)

Year 2 SATs don't have to be done on st days, unlike the Y6 SATs. It is up to the teacher when they do them. Many chose to do them in May time, but not all.

We're doing ours in June.
