Not education, exactly but......zip up red cardigans? Help!

dd1 has a button phobia. A real one, she's had it since she was tiny, and will now tolerate one metal button on jeans/skirts but can't cope with shirts or cardigans that button up.

She's had a red zip up cardigan from Adams this year (Reception) but used it to do something creative in the playground and its full of holes...I can't find a replacement ANYWHERE.

Any ideas?

Can you remove the buttons from one and replace with velcro? That was the OT suggestion for my son who has to wear a shirt to school and has physical problems with buttons

could you get a button up one and get a seamstress to alter it to a zip fastening? shouldn't cost very much i wouldn't expect?

Sainsbury sell red zip-ups in their uniform section.

sainsburys here too lol.

Thank you oh thank you...

Sainsbury's it is, but will do the seamstress thing if I can't find any. I've tried velcro, but she doesn't use it, hates the sewn up button holes, etc.

I knew MN would save the day yet again

yes my dd has a similar button issue. M and S used to stock zip up polo shirts which are great. I have also used ebay to track down zip up cardigans and the two we have are from sainsburys.
