i'm really struggling with dd1's homework...can anyone help me please?

This is an example of one of the questions:
Write down a factor pair of:
42,17,23 and 29
Then put one times the number for the prime numbers.
If anyone could just explain to me the workings out,I could then perhaps pass it on to my daughter.

Factor pairs are 2 numbers which multiply together to make another number.

So the factor pairs for 42 are 1 and 42, 2 and 21, 3 and 14, 6 and 7.

17, 23 and 29 are all prime numbers so each have only 1 factor pair, 1 and themself.

17 - 1 and 17
23 - 1 and 23
29 - 1 and 29
