SENCO input, am I supposed to chase them up or wait for them to get back to me ??

Just to give a bit of background. I ended up having a meeting with the senco about Ds1 about 3 weeks before Easter.

I requested the meeting as I have concerns about ds's ability to concentrate and that he is behind in all areas of learning.

Anyhow, the senco was lovely and said first off they wanted him to have a hearing test and if that came back fine then we'd move on and if I liked Ds could be given an IEP.

So, the hearing test was done the week before they broke up for eatser, and ds passed fine but I have heard nothing from the Senco since.

Do I chase it up or is it likely that she is just busy and will get to us ? Likewise is it likely we have been forgotten?

The thing is, all sencos have heavy workloads, and with the best will in the world, things can slip, and gentle chase will really help.
