Primary schools in Medway

We will re-locate in July and need to find a primary school for DS2 - we are lookting to rent a house in the Borstal / Walderslade / Hempstead area. What are the schools like in that area? We visited briefly a few weeks ago, the place looks nice, but what is it like living there?

why the ?

The could be a thoughtful questioning

We nearly moved to Medway a couple of years ago and researched some areas. The ones you are looking at are definitely the best ones, especially Hempstead from what I was told. They still have the grammar school system there too apparently so that may influence your decision perhaps?. Sorry I couldn't be more help, we didn't actually move there in the end, but thought I would share what I did know!

Thanks Notalone - we are definitely moving , DH has got new job there, there is no going back now!

I used to live in Rochester. I think the grammar and secondaries have quite a good reputation, don't know loads about the primaries.

BTW Rochester High Street is lovely for children - nice cake shops, sweets shops, museum etc
