Between the beginning of January up to now - how many school days were there? (disregarding one inset day)

If a pupil had 88% attendance for this whole term, how many days off would they have had?

I'm really confused by a letter I received today.

Many thanks.

I counted 60 days
My calculation show an attendance of 52.8 days. but I will count the days again to make sure.

After check 63 days
88% of which is 55.44 days

Is that including inset day and 5 days at half term?

Really need the orrect figures as I've already been to court once.

Sorry, I have checked again and I am now getting 59 days school since the beginning of January (inset day+half term taken off). I seem to have counted a Week End as school before. As it seems to be very important please do not just take my word for it.

(with 59 school days I get 51.92 attended days)
