Hi. My daughter has brought home an oxford reading tree book stage 6 today. Does anybody know what age group this stage is aimed at? I tried to google it but cannot find anything.

Thanks

:-)

There used to be a structure on the website but can't see it at the moment. dd had them early in year 1 iirc.

First link doesn't have ages - just says which year/term child might be in.

But I wouldn't worry anyway - children are at lots of different stages with reading. If it's too hard, read something else and send it back unread with a note - if it's too easy whip through it then read something else - and send it back with a note!

Why?!

And I wouldn't go by that chart anyway because a while back many schools were visited by members of their LEA's and the ORT schemes were mixed up ie: some books were seen to be in the wrong age group iyswim. You have to go by the colour rather than the stage - ??
