Year 6, a tricky bunch, and a totally new report format - but I have finishhhhhhhhhhhhed - wooooooo hooooo!

Yes, I still have hours of proof reading ahead of me, but I feel so much better for getting this far.

They are SO difficult to write.

Did the new format give you any scope for the sort of comments we all treasure from our old school reports - you know, the 'we feel sure edam has considerable potential and we do hope she decides to share it with her next school' type of thing?

Actually it does Edam! School has ditched most of the subject "boxes" other than maths and literacy, and we now just have a giant box to fill with the Johnny needs to apply himself more comments! Bit of an essay - difficult to do with "average" pupils but deeply satisfying to be able to give some a lengthy roasting!!

And of course also satisfying to be able to really praise at length those who deserve it!

Thank you both I am off to bed feeling very relieved now!
