Does anyone have experience of this school between 2004 and 2006? Am trying to find who was principal before Rachael Hodgson?? Any help appreciated!

BeehiveBaby · 08/03/2009 22:20

Mrs Fitz was head of the senior school when I went in 1993/4.

Not boys

hellymelly · 08/03/2009 22:27

yep.. boys are allowed in the sixth form

BeehiveBaby · 08/03/2009 22:31

Don't like that, boys are stinky . Actually I think co-ed primary schools are probably best, but did like how civilised it seemed being all girls as teenagers.

hellymelly · 08/03/2009 22:40

Wiki says they are the first young men allowed in 145 years. When I was there we had the first male teachers, only in the sixth form. two of them .I had Miss Turner as head but for a short time I had the wonderful and irreplaceable Miss Turner who wore sandals and socks in all weathers on her size 11 feet, was about 8 feet tall and the kindest woman ever.Miss Turner was a hopeless replacement, rather strange and shy, totally humourless and distant.

Was Mrs Fitz head of junior section??

Hi All
Moving to cardiff next month and trying to get a school for my 5 year old. Having a nightmare with the council who says that all schools are at capacity- arrgghh - apart from one. Anything else we have to appeal. Need a primary in north cardiff- can anyone help/ recommend? Also does anyone know about Coed Glas Primary ( the only one with spaces). Also looking for a house to rent that needs to be close to the school and the seems I can't do one without the other- help ??!!??

Not certain about this but have you looked at places which might be just outside the Cardiff LEA ... Radyr is v. close to the city but used to be a different LEA. Haven't heard of Coed Glas but I left a while ago ....
