my DS hasn't sat his level a maths test yet although i'm sure everyone else in his year has - any advice?

I'm a little confused! Are you talking about A'Level maths or something else, because if he is doing A'Level Maths in primary, get yourself over to G&T quickly!

Or are you talking about levelling for SATS?

Hi - I'm assuming you're up here in Scotland? Best thing is to ask the teacher how his maths is coming along and when she thinks he'll be ready for it, and whether there's anything you can be doing with him if he's not getting the hang of it. It may be that there are a number who haven't done it yet - unless you've asked all the other parents

Ah I see now. No wonder I was confused! Out of curiosity, what is it?

(translation - Scotland has Level A to Level F tests, which each pupil sits when the teacher thinks he/she is ready for them, instead of SATs which the whole class does at the same time)
