Party invitations- when to send out?

At what point do you send out party invitations? A week? 2 weeks or more?

Many thanks. I am a complete novice at this!

3 to 4 weeks ahead of the party.

Tbh DS is always desperate to send out his invited, so for us it can sometime been earlier than that!

My daughter was given one this Monday for a party on the 14th Feb. Thats good for me , gives time to look for a present etc. Similarly she also got one middle of last week for a party this weekend (lots of children turning 5 at the mo) - I thought that was quite short notice ,but thats maybe just me. No harm at all in giving them out sooner rather than later.

One month beforehand IMHO.
