Have your children done this?

ds2 (yr5) is doing it later this month with his school.

We have a 'Top of the Form' competition locally for secondary schools, which he's been along to. I think this is what he is expecting.

I suspect PMC is more likely to be a written test, with the results of all team members contributing to the team score.

Does anyone know?

My dd did this in Yr's 5 and 6

It is taken all over the country and the scores are individual (and compared against each other) so that the highest scores get Gold next Silver, and third, Bronze (certificates). The rest, nothing.

It is written.

Thanks Cammelia, that's helpful.
Anyone else?

My children didn't do it, but I think it's similar in form to the Junior maths challenge aimed at yrs 7 & 8 (but a little easier I guess.

I just googled it & found their site which has some sample questions.
