Yesterday, DD's school had the visit from the dental nurse. She has already seen a dentist who said that her teeth were fine but she spent yesterday evening crying because she now thinks that the germs in her mouth will attack her teeth while she's asleep (because the nurse said they like the nighttime best) that her teeth are going to go black overnight and fall out. She cleaned her teeth three times last night and first thing this morning made me check to make sure that she didn't have holes. What I cant decide is whether the nurse went a bit OTT or whether lots of kids react like this or whether DD is just a bit bonkers . Nothing I say makes any difference.
